Website transparency

How this site was made—and how it handles access.

This page explains the technology, AI assistance, data storage, and safeguards behind Prince of Peace Operations in plain language.

Build stack

Tools and services used

ChatGPT + Codex

Used collaboratively to plan, write, test and revise the website. The site owner directs the content and approves the result.

React, TypeScript + Vinext

The interface is built as a responsive web application using React components, typed data and the Vinext build system.

Google Firebase

Firebase Authentication provides Google sign-in. Cloud Firestore stores shared events, work lists, mapped assets and the owner allowlist.

ChatGPT Sites + Cloudflare

The application is published with ChatGPT Sites and served through Cloudflare’s network.

Lucide icons

Interface symbols come from the open-source Lucide icon library. The visual design and layout were created for this project.

Campus map reference

The site owner supplied Apple Maps aerial references. They were used only to trace the simplified vector schematic; the screenshots are not displayed as the map.

Data and permissions

What is stored

Organization data

Calendar events, work lists, map markers, branding, public resources, and memberships are stored in organization-separated Firestore paths.

Role-enforced access

Firebase rules enforce Owner, Supervisor, Crew, and Visitor permissions. Hiding a button in the interface is never treated as security.

Device preference

The light or dark theme choice is saved only in the visitor’s browser. It is not added to a user profile.

Not collected here

The site does not use Firebase Analytics, advertising trackers, payment collection or a public account-registration system.
